Laboratory

The Allergy Standards Laboratory is a newly built state of the art facility based in the Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus which is a technology transfer facility linked to The University of Dublin, Trinity College.

The laboratory specialises in Immunoassay testing and detection of other bioallergen and allergy relevant chemicals in consumer products and environments. These can either be analysed from production samples or passive build up in the products and environments during the normal course of use over time.

Other tenants in the campus include IdentiGEN Ltd., a company that has developed the worlds first DNA based traceability system for food products (TraceBack™) from research initially carried out at the Institute of Genetics at Trinity College.

We also have designated testing facilities with strategic partners both in the UK and the USA such as Bureau Veritas and IBR testing.

Facilities here include large walk in climate control rooms as well as ASTM certified indoor chambers for particle counting. We also use the specialist knowledge from some of the world leading faculties in the University for specialist testing for example in the area of Projection Microscopy.
